John
Briedis is one of the leading plastic and reconstructive surgeons
in Australia today, with close to 30 years of medical and
surgical experience. Having graduated from the University
of Sydney with degrees in medicine and surgery, John Briedis
completed his general surgical training at the Prince of Wales
Hospital, Sydney, Reading Hospital UK and Stoke Mandeville
Hospital UK. Plastic surgery training was subsequently completed
at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, and Canniesburn United Kingdom,
with Fellowships being completed at Emory, Atlanta and in
Akron, Ohio, USA.
Specialising
in aesthetic, skin cancer and general reconstructive surgery
John Briedis has been responsible for both the development
and operation of a purpose built aesthetic day surgery unit
('Aesthetic Day Surgery') in Sydney where a large proportion
of his work is currently carried out. Dr. Briedis is also
a Visiting Medical Officer at St. George Private Hospital.
